Private rooms are not end-to-end encrypted: the server can read them. New members can't read messages from before they joined.
Notifications only arrive while Nodz is open (a background tab or the installed app is fine). When Nodz is closed, or your phone puts the browser to sleep, nothing arrives. They don't work in Safari on iPhone and iPad yet.
You stay in your rooms when you close Nodz, so your read position and the messages and direct messages you missed are waiting when you return. Others see you as away (disconnected). Turn it off at any time.
You're signed in as server admin for this connection.
Deletes your account and unregisters rooms you own. The name stays reserved and can't be registered again. Messages you sent expire within the normal retention period.
Only after you're sure the account belongs to the person asking. Tell them the new password privately.
GDPR requests: export or delete everything an account has sent that is still stored, or erase the account completely.
