Community rules

Nodz is a small community. These rules keep it a nice place to be.

1. Be kind. Treat people the way you'd like to be treated. Disagree with ideas, not with people.
2. No harassment or hate. No bullying, threats, discrimination or hateful content of any kind.
3. Nothing illegal. Don't share or ask for illegal content, and don't use Nodz to plan harm.
4. No spam or flooding. No advertising, scams, bots without permission, or walls of repeated messages.
5. Don't impersonate. Don't pretend to be someone else, including staff. A guest nickname doesn't prove identity.
6. Respect privacy. Don't share other people's personal information or private conversations without their permission.
7. Keep it suitable. No sexual or graphic content in public rooms.
8. Minimum age 16. You must be at least 16 years old to use Nodz.

Moderation

Room owners and operators look after their rooms and can kick or ban people. The server administrator can remove anyone who breaks these rules, anywhere on Nodz. Moderation is never for sale: donations don't buy any special powers.

Reporting a problem

In the chat, use Report on a message or on a person: the server administrator gets it right away, with the server's own copy of the reported message. You can also ignore someone (their messages are hidden on your device), and room operators (marked ~ or @) can help in their room.

Include the room, nickname, time and what happened. Remember that anyone in a conversation can copy or log messages.
